Every tier gets the same software through the same three faces: the desktop app, sqlmc, and the MCP server. Every guardrail behaves identically in all three.

Settings, Account: the tier and its limits, server connections and databases per run, which differ between tiers.

  • Community — free: up to 5 server connections and 25 databases per run. Personal, hobby, learning and open-source use.
  • Pro — $10 per seat per month or $99 per seat per year. For work: no limits, plus email support with a response target. The first 30 days are free, with no card — see below.
  • Enterprise — $199 per seat per year, 10-seat minimum. No limits, plus what an organization needs: a license issued to the organization, seat management, an offline license file, fleet deployment, priority support and procurement that works. Audit-grade run export, identity-provider sign-in and policy controls are being added; see the roadmap.

The formatter, IntelliSense, coverage reporting, Git integration, the local audit log, the command line, the MCP server and automation are in every tier and stay there. A tool that charged you to script it would be a tool you scripted around.

Plans, limits and prices can change. We will tell you in the app and by email, a change reaches you at your next renewal at the earliest and never inside a period you have paid for, and a version you have already installed keeps working under the limits it shipped with. See section 6 of the license agreement shown when you install.
