A scan against a group that does not exist failing with a message and a non-zero exit code.
A scan against a group that does not exist failing with a message and a non-zero exit code.
All Prod: read 10 of 12 database(s); 2 could not be read.
  • A database that could not be read is counted in failed and is absent from the findings, not counted as an object missing. "Not there" and "not looked at" are different answers, and keeping them apart is the whole design.
  • Ctrl+C stops the scan and keeps what it has gathered. Exit 130, and the report says "Stopped early. What was gathered before that is below."
  • Cancellation is checked before failure, so a stopped scan never reports as a partial failure — a pipeline would read that as a reason to investigate its servers.
