Ctrl+K formats the active script. Script ▸ Format Folder formats every .sql file in a folder,
after asking:
Format 23 script file(s) in place? Each file is rewritten on disk.
The formatter works on a token stream, never a parse tree. That is why your comments survive it — a formatter that reconstructs SQL from parsed structure drops them.
Defaults, which are what you get:
| Keyword case | Upper |
| Indent | 4 spaces |
SELECT list |
One item per line |
AND / OR in WHERE and ON |
Start a new line |
| Consecutive blank lines | Collapsed to one |
These are not configurable in this release — there is no formatter section in Settings.
