Install and first launch: The tour and the setup wizard
Two different things, and you can replay either at any time from the menu.

Show tutorial runs a spotlight tour: eight cards that highlight one part of the window each — the workspace switcher, Project Explorer, Scripts, Servers, Targets, the Run button, the command palette, and (if you might be coming from SQL Multi Script) the import entry. It explains where things are and then stops.
Setup guide is the other half. It walks five steps, opening the real dialog for each:
| Step | What it creates |
|---|---|
| 1. Create a workspace | The folder everything else lives in |
| 2. Register a server | Your first connection, testable before saving |
| 3. Build a target group | The list of databases a script runs against |
| 4. Create a project | Its own folder and one starter script |
| 5. Add your scripts | A new .sql file, or existing ones |
The steps are a dependency chain, not a preference. Skipping one leaves the ones after it thinner rather than broken — a target group with no connections in it is an empty editor, not an error. Every step can be skipped and the whole wizard stopped, from any card.
On a genuinely first-run machine the tour hands straight over to the wizard. On a machine that already has a workspace it does not, because someone replaying the tour out of curiosity does not need to be walked through creating a second one.
