Terms of service

The agreement between you and AERai Group LLC for SQL Multicast and its website. Please read it before you register or use the software.

Last updated 27 October 2026.

Who we are, and what this covers

SQL Multicast is operated by AERai Group LLC (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the SQL Multicast desktop app, the sqlmc command line, the MCP server, the website at sqlmulticast.com and your account on it (together, “SQL Multicast”). By registering, signing in or using SQL Multicast you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

Your account

Licenses and tiers

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SQL Multicast according to the tier you hold. The tiers, limits and prices are on the pricing page; in short:

Using Community for work is a breach of these terms. A license covers up to three devices per user. Do not share a license between people, and do not work around the device, seat or limit checks.

Trials, subscriptions and payment

If a subscription ends or a trial lapses, nothing you built is deleted. Your license drops to Community and the app keeps running within the Community limits.

What you may not do

You are responsible for what you run

SQL Multicast runs the scripts you give it against the servers and databases you choose, often many at once. Its guardrails, such as the production consent prompt and read-only groups, reduce risk but do not remove it. You are responsible for the scripts you run, the targets you select, your backups and the results. We never see your scripts, connections or data, so we cannot check or recover them for you.

Your content and your data

Your workspaces, projects, scripts, connection details and run logs are yours and stay on your machine. We claim no rights in them. What we collect about you is described in the privacy policy.

Our rights

SQL Multicast, its name and its documentation belong to AERai Group LLC and its licensors. These terms give you a right to use it, not ownership of it. Any open-source components in it remain under their own licenses. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Support

Community support is through the public issue tracker. Pro and Enterprise include email support with a response target. A response target is a goal, not a guarantee.

No warranty

SQL Multicast is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here excludes a warranty that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost revenue or business interruption, however caused, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim arising from SQL Multicast is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and US$100. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us against claims and costs arising from your breach of these terms or from the scripts you run and the systems you run them on, to the extent the law allows.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using SQL Multicast and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you breach these terms, if a payment fails and is not remedied, or where the law requires, and we will say why where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, warranty, liability, indemnity and this section) do.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AERai Group LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and its courts have jurisdiction over disputes, except where the law of your country gives you mandatory rights to another forum. Please contact us first; most problems are quicker to fix than to argue about.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the software, our providers or the law change. The current version is always the one published here, and the date at the top says when it last changed. We intend to email you about material changes if you have given us an address, but publishing the change here is what makes it effective. If you do not agree with a change, stop using SQL Multicast and ask us to delete your account. Continuing to use it after a change means you accept it.

General

These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement between us about SQL Multicast. If a part is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term is not waiving it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor to the business.
